Very happy. This thing is heavy as hell though - something to bear in mind if you're aiming to install it on an upper floor. Took two really beefy guys to get it up the stairs - and they were blowing hard!

Took about an hour to put together. It's not complex and I guess if I had to do it agin today, that time would be halved.

Pleased with the features, the design and the build quality. Not top of the range but a very good middle entry point.

Please think very carefully about purchasing this. I wish I had read over reviews about how complicated it is to assemble. Once I got to the the final stage of adding the console we couldn't screw it in as the screw holes were incorrectly drilled on the arms. I spoke to ICON (the manufacturer) and completely agree with comments on their customer service. In short after weeks of back and forward I still have the faulty machine at my house whilst ICON await a formal refund request from my online retailer who are closed for Christmas. Please save yourself the stress and don't buy this, it was my biggest online shopping mistake and a fairly costly one at that!

I have just dismantled the part assembled Nordic C100 version 2 treadmill and returned it after 3 weeks, this has involved buying packing materials having in hindsight erroneously thrown away the packing supplied with the equipment (but how can you store the vast amount of packing supplied). Why return it, because ICON who are the manufacturers and with whom the warranty is taken out offer such poor support. I received the treadmill on 28th July and was surprised (but should not have been, given the information on Amazon site) at the size combined with the weight so I rang Fitness Superstore to find out whether the figure quoted for assembly on their web site applied to a purchase through Amazon. I was told no, this price only applied to purchases from FS so I asked for a price , there was great reluctance to provide a price but they said they would go away and calculate one – never heard anything again. So there I was with one large box and me sitting there aghast so i decided to unpack it, it was a shame it was not in two parcels as it would have been far more manageable but it all went well and after reading the instructions this was going to be a simple exercise – I am no engineer –until I got to instruction 8 , the fitting of the pulse bar to the handrails, the 4 screws would not fit ,either the screws were the wrong type or the holes were too small but the instructions were categorical not to use mechanical tightening equipment and don’t overtighten – I needed advice – couldn’t I just drill the holes out to enlarge them or send me some different screws – simple isn’t it. I sense that the assembly issue I had experienced seemed to be similar to other reviewers. We were still on day 1, the day of delivery so I made calls to FS and ICON but I was not registered and without the registration ICON stated I would have to pay for the spares/resolution(whether that was legal is another matter) so the next job was to register which I duly did. And then the saga started, the issue was simple and according to ICON could be sorted in 48 hours by replacement parts but what if the production run just replaced my parts with those with the same problem – will address that later says ICON. Days went by and nothing sorted other than with the involvement and pressure from Amazon establishing that certain parts required a 12 week delivery which all parties found unacceptable. After the 2nd week I was offered a replacement machine as the spares were not currently available. With my request for technical/engineering support during the assembly phase of the replacement treadmill rejected, I decided to return it, the main problem being that neither PS nor ICON seem to offer technical support officially either over the phone or by a home visit. This assembly issue would have been so simple to resolve if the support had been there. Yes I had asked for contacts with whom I could discuss the technical issue but was unable to pin either organisation down to a name, I still fail to understand why ICON was so anxious to replace the whole machine rather that provide a technician for half a day or indeed over the phone to resolve what was a simple issue perhaps they knew something that I did not know about this version 2 machine. I would like to thank Amazon for their support and pressure they applied to ICON and FS to bring this whole saga to an early head. When I started to assemble the treadmill I was impressed with the quality of the treadmill but I find that in my experience when problems occur, the company response separates good companies from the others and in this instance they certainly did not fall into the former group and i felt that this experience could be all a portend of the future warranty period, if this simple problem could not be sorted with a customer focus then what if….?
For security purposes I asked ICON a simple question and that was the name of the carriers that were to collect the treadmill the response –
“ We do not know the name of the carriers, as is just a company we work with, i am sorry.
      Regards,
      T….”
Case proven !!! my advice – could be a great machine but steer clear, however I am still looking for my first treadmill being now very conscious of the importance of support availability or perhaps I am expecting too much from the fitness industry only time will tell.

Good treadmill when assembled! Personally found assembly tricky but customer service very helpful. On the handrails the holes were not big enough required 'electric screw driver and force' despite instructions. Cannot be done all by hand.

We were trying to decide which treadmill to buy, this one or the Nordic Track T9.2 for a similar price. We tried them both out at another store. We were told that the C100 is the newer model from Nordic Track and it seemed much more solid and better quality so we went for that one. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and am very pleased with it. The running area is just right (I am 6ft 1). It is heavy though and took a while to assemble and my only criticism is that the sound system is not loud enough, barely able to hear it when running so I tend to use my ipod, which is fine. Overall I'm very pleased with it and would definitely recommend it.

Love it, brilliant. Very large and study and was fairly easy to put together. You need two of you at one point but most of it you can do on your own (I got my partner to do it). Good long treadmill band so you aren't confined to a tiny running space. My only negative would be that there is a delivery cost which is not obvious on amazon. I paid an extra £75. Check before you buy.

I purchased this treadmill, used it once and it didn't work again...…… due to illness and death in the family I have only tried to rectify this with the manufacturer this year who advised, in early September, that the part needed wouldn't arrive until late November …….. very disappointing as this wasn't the cheapest option available

All the family of varying ages have been using this since we got it. It is sturdy and safe. A great investment if your goal is to keep fit and be able to do this in the comfort of your own home.
