UFC on ABC 5 was a pretty messy card with many decision fights. We’ve seen a very controversial scorecard on the prelims in the fight between Jamal Emmers and Jack Jenkins. Despite Emmers landed way more clean shots, judges rewarded Jenkins with a split-decision win. The main event was a 5-round technical war where Ilia Topuria dominated dangerous Josh Emmett in a 145-pound scrap.
UFC On ABC 5 Rewards
The Fight of the Night award went into the hands of Ilia Topuria and Josh Emmett. The Georgian dominated for five rounds, but Emmett survived until the end with a massive bruise under his eye. Dana White was impressed with this combat, and both Octagon warriors banked an extra 50k on their bills.
Maycee Barber scored a lovely second-round TKO win over Amanda Ribas. She pulled out one of the greatest upsets on the card. David Onama surprised shoot boxer Gabriel Santos with a nasty punch, which led to one of the most brutal knockout stoppages on the card.

UFC Vegas 76 Announcement
After a card in sunny Florida, the UFC travels back to the middle of the Mojave desert. UFC Vegas 76 will be headlined by the clash of two elite-level strikers – Sean Strickland and Abus Magomedov.

Magomedov is a former PFL star who scored some impressive wins upon inking his UFC contract. He is known for tricky strikes, stunning one-punch knockout power, and superb durability. He’ll be looking for a first-round knockout victory over his opponent.
On the other hand, Sean Strickland is one of the most technical UFC fighters. He’s ok with five-round boxing wars. “Tarzan” is pretty much unpredictable. For example, Alex Pereira floored him early with a brutal left hook, and he later survived five rounds against the very dangerous Jared Cannonier. Strickland has to survive the first round if he wants to score a victory against a powerful German.
Prediction: Abus to win
The co-main event looks very tricky for betting. Very technical fighter, all-around fighter Damir Ismagulov squares off against another technical fighter Grant Dawson.
Ismagulov outworked Guram Kutateladze in a very close bout, then he suffered a decision loss to Arman Tsarukyan. He’ll be looking to get back into the winning column after this fight.
Grant Dawson’s powerful right hand is extremely dangerous in the first round. After a draw against Ricky Glenn, Dawson scored two back-to-back rear-naked choke wins over Jared Gordon and Mark Madsen.
Prediction: over 2.5 rounds
