UFC Paris ‘Gane vs. Spivak’ + Weekly MMA Report
UFC Singapore’s preliminary card was very entertaining, but we haven’t seen many finishes in the last six bouts. Yet, Dana White thought differently.
UFC Singapore Awards
Max Holloway destroyed The Korean Zombie with a weaving overhand right KO in the third round for an extra 50k. Yet, the UFC head honcho enjoyed the fight, so both fighters earned The Fight of the Night honors.

UFC Paris Is Heading Our Way
Finally, UFC is traveling between the continents. After a fair event in Singapore, the greatest mixed martial arts promotion moves to Paris, France, for another fight night in Accor Arena. This time, French fighters will compete in many combats. The popularity of this sport has grown significantly in this state thanks to Fernand Lopez, the former coach of the ex-UFC heavyweight king Francis Ngannou.

The main event of the evening brings the combat between Muay Thai fighter Ciryl Gane and amazing wrestler and top control expert Sergei Spivak. Gane is known for an excellent stand-up game, but Jon Jones finished him pretty easily with a guillotine choke, he is a very tactical Octagon warrior, but he’s never had a good time against excellent grapplers or wrestlers.
On the other hand, Sergei is known for excellent chain wrestling and a powerful right hand. His only chance to win is dragging the battle to the ground.
Prediction: The fight will not go the distance
The co-main event of the evening might turn technical, as Manon Fiorot squares off against the legendary ex-UFC strawweight queen Rose Namajunas. Rose was having ups and downs in her last few fights, and Manon was always ready to take part in a toe-to-toe battle. Yet, Namajunas will try to counter Fiorot’s strikes, so this might go all the way. This might not be the most entertaining combat to watch.
Prediction: Over 2.5 rounds
