UFC Vegas 69 “Andrade Vs Blanchfield” + Weekly MMA News
UFC 284 was an amazing card, where we’ve seen so many high-level all-around wars and performances. So many amazing Octagon warriors showed their best skills to Dana White, and he was having a hard time giving the rewards. Here is the list of the winners.
UFC 284 Prize Winners
The Fight of the Night award went into the hands of Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski, who took part in the great five-round war. Volkanovski created more damage, but it seems the judges didn’t pay much attention to that, as they scored the combat in the favor of the reigning defending Dagestani 155-pound champ.
Yair Rodriguez stopped Josh Emmett to become the second Mexico-born fighter to win the UFC belt. He is the 145-pound king thanks to the amazing triangle choke win in the second and won the Performance of the Night award.

Jack Della Maddalena destroyed Randy Brown in the first round with a surprising submission for the second Performance of the Night award.

UFC Vegas 69 Is Closing In
The UFC Vegas 69 will take place in the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, The United States of America. Unfortunately, Taila Santos is out of the Erin Blanchfield to fight, and Sandhagen Vs Vera was moved to another card, so the UFC was forced to let Jessica Andrade square off against Erin Blanchfield on short notice, so the two women will meet in the main event of the evening.

Jessica Andrade Vs Erin Blanchfield
Jessica Andrade is the former UFC 115-pound champion, known for her brutal slam victory over Rose Namajunas. When she decided to transition to the 125-pound division, it didn’t go well in the first place because she lost to Valentina Shevchenko, but she got used to a reach disadvantage as time went by.
Andrade recently outclassed Lauren Mueller, and she is one of the strongest girls at 125 thanks to spending endless hours in the gym. Her pressure, violent hooks, and superb wrestling might be too much for her opponent.
On the other hand, Erin Blanchfield is a violent BJJ phenom and a young gun who recently choked out spinning elbow specialist Molly McCann. One way or another, this fight will hardly last for five rounds.
Prediction: the fight will not go the distance
The Co-Main
In the co-main event, the dangerous puncher Zac Pauga meets a one-round knockout, machine Jordan Wright. Wright is known for aggressive toe-to-toe exchanges and poor cardio, but you don’t want to be in the way of his punch – once he hits you, you’re going down for sure. If Pauga survives round one, he might have the chance.
Prediction: the fight will not go the distance
