UFC Vegas 70 “Krylov Vs Spann” + Bellator 291 + Weekly MMA News
UFC Vegas 69 was stacked with unknown names and prospects but it was a very fun event. Despite four decisions in the main card, we’ve seen a great preliminary card and tons of finishes.
UFC Vegas 69 Post-Fight Thoughts And Rewards
The main event of the evening between Jessica Andrade and Erin Blanchfield was a barn burner. After a dominant win in round one, Andrade made a mistake in the second and ended up on the canvas, which led to a submission victory for a ground game phenom and young gun Erin Blanchfield. Dana White was impressed by the rear-naked choke win over the former 115-pound title queen, so Erin took home an extra 50k bonus.
Last night she proved she's the REAL DEAL 💪

The other 50k bonus went into the hands of Mayra Bueno Silva, who stopped the elbow specialist from Sweden Lina Lansberg with a nasty kneebar.

Nazim Sadykhov and Evan Elder took part in a violent fight where Elder was up on the scorecards. Unfortunately, a nasty cut ended his victory dream, but Dana White enjoyed the fight and both fighters got an additional 50k for the Fight of the Night.
This banger is over! The doctor calls this one off due to a cut above Evan Elder's eye.@Naz_MMA is leaving #UFCVegas69 with the victory in his Octagon debut 👏 pic.twitter.com/5cgS2KaCuX

UFC Vegas 70 Announcement
The promotion stays in the “Sin City” and the UFC Apex Center for another amazing night of fights. This time, the event will be headlined by a clash between the Ukrainian all-around fighter Nikita Krylov and the master of one-punch knockout Ryan Spann.

Main Event
Krylov holds victories over some of the most dangerous names in the division and his cardio is amazing for 205. If the fight advances into the later rounds, “The Miner” might outclass Spann with ease.
Ryan Spann is a master of strong strikes, but he cuts so many pounds to reach the 205-pound limit. This could be a huge challenge for him, and he’ll have to KO Krylov in the first if he plans to bounce back from a cold streak.
Prediction: Krylov to win
Co-Main Event
And here comes the boom! The submission specialist who forced Jacare Souza to tap, Andre Muniz, will square off against a great all-around Octagon warrior Brendan Allen.
As long as Allen keeps the fight standing, he’ll have good chances of outpointing or outworking Muniz. But Muniz’s BJJ knowledge is on a whole different level, so his chances for victory will be very small if the combat gets dragged to the canvas.
Prediction: the fight will not go the distance

Please take a look at my UFC Vegas 70 predictions:
Bellator 291 “Amosov Vs Storley 2”
Ah, ladies and gentlemen, that is not all, as Bellator 291 comes up this weekend with another world-class event. It takes place in Dublin, Ireland, so you might enjoy two great events at the same time!
The main event brings the world-class rematch between Yaroslav Amosov and Logan Storley. Two masters of wrestling, grappling, and ground game are definitively going to put on a show. Last time, Amosov defeated Stoa rley via razor-close split decision at Bellator 252, you can expect a close war this time too.
Prediction: Amosov via decision
In the co-main event of the evening, the Portuguese knockout machine Pedro Carvalho will square off against a ground game wrestling expert Jeremy Kennedy. Carvalho should be fine as long as the fight stays on the fight, but you know how hard it can be if Kennedy presses you against the fence or drags you to the floor.
Prediction: the fight will not go the distance

This is going to be a top-notch weekend for the fans of the fastest-growing sport in the world – do not go anywhere this Saturday!
[…] The UFC Vegas 70 suffered three massive blows. In the first place, it lost two preliminary bouts – Jose Johnson vs Garret Armfield, and Hailey Cowan vs Ailin Perez. Later, only two hours before the fight, Nikita Krylov was forced to pull out of the main event due to a “food-related illness”, so his fight against Ryan Spann didn’t proceed. The three-round middleweight fight between Andre Muniz and Brendan Allen was bumped to the main event instead of Krylov vs Spann. […]
